Feature
A New Feature from Your Feedback
The ability to mark a job as Applied is live on ZenSearch!

I start every response to feedback with this statement: "Input from users is how we make ZenSearch a better app."
It's true.
Without user feedback, I'd just be building MY perfect job search tool. And while that is in fact how ZenSearch started, we've grown to almost 8,000 users, and one person's opinion (even mine) shouldn't guide a product.
When I hear ideas repeated, I pay close attention. If a few people suggest something, chances are great that other people want it too. Usually, a lot of other people.
One feature request I've heard repeatedly is the ability to mark a job as Applied.
I'm happy to announce that feature is now live in ZenSearch.
Once you confirm you've applied to a job, it's removed from the main list and added to an Applied section (similar to Saved or Excluded jobs). I'm planning to enhance this feature to include the date you applied, allowing you to sort by date and export for unemployment reporting.
I'm also planning to track applications on the job and company side. Many of you have requested that we display the number of people who have applied to a specific job. Others want to know how long it takes for a company to respond to an application, if they reply at all.
All great ideas, from you. And coming soon...
Do you have other ideas for features? I'd love to hear them!!
Drop them in the comments so other people can agree and add their take. If that doesn't work for you, you can always message me directly or submit suggestions through the feedback link.
Check us out at ZenSearch.jobs and share our platform with anyone looking for something new. Together, we can make job searching a little more zen.
