Why we made ZenSearch free for everyone

Several months ago, we introduced a premium tier for ZenSearch to help cover our costs. We believed that job seekers would find value in paying for unique features and access to over 240k jobs at 7,500 companies. And we did get some subscribers, but it didn’t feel right.

For anyone who has faced the challenging reality of searching for a job in today’s market, you know how tough it is. It’s more than just hard – it can be soul-destroying. The stress, the uncertainty, the constant need to stay motivated, it takes a toll.

At ZenSearch, our mission is to make this journey as serene as possible. While we provide a valuable service, we realized that by charging a subscription fee, we were excluding many people who need us the most. Those struggling to make ends meet, those in countries with different cost structures – they were being left out.We didn’t want to be a part of that problem. So, we decided to make a change.

In the spirit of a more zen and inclusive experience, we’re excited to make our premium features free for everyone! Now, everyone can:

• Discover and apply to unlimited jobs

• See relevant jobs as soon as they’re posted

• Get notified when a company you favorite posts a matching job

• Save jobs to easily revisit them later- Continue in calmness with no ads, no sponsored content, and no expired jobs

We believe that job searching should be a serene experience, not an additional source of stress. By removing the subscription fee, we hope to support every job seeker on their journey to finding the perfect opportunity.
