Where do the jobs on ZenSearch come from?

I get asked this a lot. People are curious. Do we scrape? Do companies pay us to post their open roles? Are there fake jobs? No, no, and no!

How do we get them?

Without getting into the weeds, if a company uses certain ATSs and we know that, we add them to our database. Once the connection is established, we ingest job posts directly from the company's website multiple times throughout the day.

Being in sync means that when a company posts a new opening—we have it, along with the true post date. We even show you if a job is reposted. Similarly, when a company closes a job post—we remove it (if you've saved a job, you'll still see it, otherwise, it's gone).

If you receive our emails or check ZenSearch daily, you'll see the newest open jobs, often several hours before they show up on LinkedIn, allowing you to get your application in at the top of the pile. And bonus— you apply directly on the company's site, so you can be sure your application goes directly to the hiring team.

What about scam jobs?

A direct connection eliminates the possibility of ZenSearch having scam jobs at fake companies. Our companies are 100% real.

How can I be so sure?

You know how I said, "if a company uses certain ATSs and we know that"? We "know" because I personally visit the company's website, inspect which ATS is being used, and manually add it to our database.

Yep, I added all of ZenSearch's 10,285 companies.

These range from big name companies like Airbnb, Uber, Reddit, Visa, and OpenAI (and hundreds more) to tiny startups hiring their founding team and everything in between. The companies span all industries, which you can easily prioritize, only show, or exclude in your results.

There's no way for a company to buy a job post or sponsor a listing on ZenSearch. Either we have them, or we don't. Unfortunately, that means we don't support the Magnificent Seven companies (they don't use off-the-shelf ATSs). But let's be real— they haven't been great to their people lately, so we think that's not a huge loss.
