"I feel like I need to see another job board like I need a hole in my head. Maybe yours is different, maybe it’s not, but I haven’t even been to it and I already don’t trust it."

    Yikes!

That's the response I got when I sent a prospective ZenSearch user links to some jobs that matched what he was looking for.

He went on to say, "The more these job boards come out, the less I trust them. Most are just regurgitating each other's roles and putting searchers into weird loops of being pushed from one job board to another for 3 or 4 hops before you get to the actual listing."

I understand. When I was looking for a job, I'd often find myself in one of those chains he referred to. The ones where the job sounds appealing, so you follow it from one sketchy job board to the next, often being forced to create accounts that will spam you with crappy "matches" forever.

It reminds me of a treasure hunt, going from one "clue" to the next, only to wind up at a dead end, with no treasure to show for it.

That's why I created ZenSearch— to stop the madness.

We don't do that weird regurgitation thing.

Every job is directly connected to the company's job boards through their ATS. I have personally visited each company's website, added all the companies manually (11,141 as of this morning!), and can attest that they are legit.

And you can choose exactly which jobs you want to see. We have the usual filters, of course, and also some less common ones, like industry or company. In fact, by using the keywords filter, you can include or exclude anything you want— technologies, specialties, vibe.

Since ZenSearch ONLY shows jobs that match your preferences, EVERY JOB is what you're looking for, making them all great ones to apply to! Be as selective or flexible as you choose, it's your job seeking experience.

I don't know if I'll gain that person's trust. He's frustrated, angry, and clearly not looking for another job platform.

But I'm sure going to try.

Check us out at ZenSearch.jobs and share our platform with anyone looking for something new. Together, we can make job searching a little more zen.
