Overview
DoubleZero is a decentralized, permissionless protocol for improving network performance in distributed systems such as blockchains. Its mission is to increase bandwidth and reduce latency by filtering junk traffic that burdens validators and other operators, and by linking these filters over underutilized private fiber in a mesh that routes essential data across low-latency paths. The project is carried by two entities: DoubleZero Foundation, which stewards adoption, decentralization, and security of the network, and Malbec Labs, which builds the protocol’s technical components. Teams work across infrastructure, data, product, and research to provide analytics and visibility into network health and to operate a global distributed network. The environment suits people who are curious, systems-minded, and comfortable in early-stage settings, with opportunities ranging from data engineering and protocol analytics to brand and community work. Candidates with backgrounds in SQL and Python, distributed systems, or Web3 tooling, and a willingness to learn quickly, tend to be a strong fit.
