Illuminate Literacy is dedicated to eradicating illiteracy in the United States, with a particular focus on supporting Black, Latino, and Native American students and those experiencing poverty. The organization develops research-based, identity-affirming digital literacy tools for children from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and beyond, aiming to leverage each child's unique strengths in the mastery of foundational reading skills. Partnering with schools and educational leaders, Illuminate Literacy is committed to developing scalable and impactful reading solutions while ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion remain central to its mission and product development. As a fiscally sponsored project of Cambiar Education, Illuminate Literacy promotes innovative practices to disrupt educational inequities and enhance literacy outcomes for underserved populations.
