    Overview

Infracost builds developer-first tools that bring FinOps into the software development workflow so teams can see and control cloud spend before changes hit production. The platform integrates with GitHub, Azure Repos, and Infrastructure-as-Code to surface cost impact in pull requests, enforce tagging and FinOps policies, and open automated fixes using a combination of static analysis and LLMs. Its Terraform static analysis engine is built to parse very large mono-repos and handle incomplete data, enabling decentralized action across thousands of repositories and organizations. Infracost serves engineering, FinOps, and engineering management by turning cost recommendations into code changes at scale. Founded in 2021, it is backed by Sequoia and Y Combinator and used by Fortune 500 enterprises. The team is fully remote and emphasizes partnership with users (“Ustomer, not customer”), openness and transparency, and a bias to action (“Let’s JEDI”). Roles span backend systems, product, and customer-facing work.
