    Overview

The Voter Participation Center (VPC) is the largest non-partisan, non-profit organization in the U.S. focused on registering and mobilizing voters from the New American Majority (NAM)—comprising people of color, unmarried women, and young individuals—who have historically faced barriers to political participation. Over the past two decades, VPC has helped more than 6.1 million people register to vote through its innovative outreach strategies, which include direct mail, digital and social media campaigns informed by data science and rigorous experimentation. VPC collaborates with various partner organizations to enhance civic engagement and foster a more representative democracy. Its mission is underpinned by a commitment to research, testing, and evaluation, aiming to implement cost-effective programs that have a measurable impact on voter turnout and engagement. Additionally, VPC prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of its work, creating an environment that values varied perspectives and experiences.
